Details

A relaxing armchair with innovative lines and constructive system. A supporting structure made of recyclable plastic material accommodates a soft dress made of different fabrics or leathers. Just a simple gesture to change the dress to Lud'o, giving time by time a completely different image. Not a removable padded, but a wearable padded, characterized by great comfort. An immediate and highly recognizable image makes this armchair an important chapter in the evolution of the contemporary seat.

N.B: The stitching is red for the Eco Nylon version, tone on tone for all other selected fabrics

Patricia Urquiola

Spagnola di origine, Patricia Urquiola vive e lavora a Milano.

Studia Architettura al Politecnico di Madrid e al Politecnico di Milano, dove laurea nel 1989 con Achille Castiglioni, lavorando poi con Vico Magistretti e Piero Lissoni. Nel 2001 apre il proprio studio.

Ogni suo lavoro racchiude ed esprime il suo approccio alla disciplina: un mix di sorpresa e formalismo, di estro femminile e di rigore, di versatilità e funzionalità. Il tutto condito da un’ironia di sottofondo, ben visibile nei prodotti che Urquiola realizza.

Sono davvero innumerevoli le collaborazioni con le più rappresentative società italiane e internazionali
del design.

Vincitori di premi e riconoscimenti, i suoi prodotti sono esposti nei più importanti musei di arte e design.
