One Page is conceived as the modelling of a single sheet of paper, this pays homage to the continuity of forms that enhances the sculptural poetics of Ron Arad and to the manufacturing expertise of the Friulian company. The polyurethane “sheet” fulfils a dual role as the rigid load-bearing external structure and as the flexible internal padding. The resultant armchair, lacking cushions and padding in the seat, armrests and backrest, nevertheless creates a continuum of comfort. The special production process superimposes a soft and flexible moulded form on a rigid frame, eliminating the need for traditional padding as a source of comfort. The armchair has a five-point-star swivel base in die-cast aluminium. This is not removable.
