Details
PIPER offers a variety of stackable outdoor chairs, with and without armrests, and dining chairs characterized by the tubular aluminum structure combined, for the PIPER 121 chair, with the intertwining of polyester belts that cover the backrest. The combination of materials is further expanded with the seat: softer in teak or more technical in polyurethane resin, in mole color. The cushion, equipped with a fastening pin that fits into the drainage slot of the seat, is made of outdoor fabrics from the extensive RODA range: a further touch of color to create new but never predictable combinations. The proposed finishing variants allow the PIPER chair to be easily combined with wooden or metal garden tables; stackability and easy maintenance make it a product suitable for outdoor spaces in restaurants and hotels.

STANDARD STUFFING:
Standard seat cushions
The seat cushions are stuffed with polyurethane foam and Dracon. They are hygienic and not toxic. They don’t produce dust, nor cause allergies to skin. Besides, they guarantee a good transpiration too, thanks to their great permeability to the air. The resilience ( elasticity performance) is a long-last guarantee. The covers of the seat cushions are made of couple acrylic materials, in order to offer a better behavior for use. Standard stuffing (made up by foam polyurethane and Dracon) can be subjected to develop mould if left outside. For this reason we recommend not to leave the outdoors permanently; if the cushions get wet, the cover should be taken off immediately , in order to let the stuffing dry.
Standard back cushions
The back cushions of our collection are stuffed with synthetic fiber and latex chips, contained in acrylic sacks. The upholstery of the back cushions standard is composed of flakes mixed with silicone Dacron latex chips (ratio 50%). The latex beside providing lift to the pillow, prevents the grouping of Dacron flakes, ensuring the shape retention. To improve the shape retention, the padded of back cushions are divided into sectors to ensure a perfect distribution of materials inside the upholstery. Standard stuffing (made up by foam polyurethane and Dracon) can be subjected to develop mould if left outside. For this reason we recommend not to leave them outdoors permanently; if the cushions get wet, the cover should be taken off immediately, in order to let the stuffing dry.
HYDRO DRAINING STUFFING:
The introduction of fabrics coated with Teflon or water-repellent represents an important technological score which allows the production of waterproof cushions. But these products have a defect: they don’t allow the stuffing to breath. This detail is very significant, if we consider that mould and parasites could develop inside the stuffing. Roda has solved this problem by making the cushions with materials which enable the stuffing to breath and, at the same time, make them resistant to every weather condition.
MAINTENANCE:
- Stainless steel - In case of exposure to atmospheric agents, periodically wash the product with fresh and lukewarm water. If the product needs more cleaning, use UNIVERSAL CLEANER and lukewarm or warm water. Then dry the surface with a soft cloth to avoid stains and halos due to water. It is advisable to rub in the direction of polishing (if the product is not painted) and to use a microfibre cloth to obtain an optimal result. To remove any fingerprints on the surface, use glass cleaner or ammonia, rinse thoroughly and dry with a cloth. In case of stubborn stains or scratches, we recommend a detergent and polishing product specific for stainless steel. Try the product in a hidden spot, before proceeding with the complete treatment of the piece of furniture. Do not use metal brushes, abrasive products, bleach, acidic substances and aggressive chemical solvents.
