The aluminum structure that visually recalls the ancient railings, characterizes the sofas, the armchair and the dining set, enveloping the generous and rounded forms of the seat with a feeling of lightness and robustness at the same time. The Venexia collection is rounded out with the new chalky colour that highlights its design. The lounge seating is cosy and comfortable, the low tables flatter an unexpected combination of stone and aluminium. The warm shades of the cushion fabrics provide a link with the earth.

Luca Nichetto was born in Venice in 1976. He studied at the State Art Institute of the city before taking the course of studies in industrial design at the University of Venice, where he graduated in 1998. In 2006 he founded his eponymous studio in Venice. In 2011 he moved to the Swedish capital Stockholm to open a second studio. During his career, Nichetto worked as art director for countless international design brands, which allowed him to acquire considerable skills in this field. Nichetto’s works have found space in exhibitions in many parts of the world, as well as being the subject of retrospectives in cities such as Venice, London, Paris and Stockholm. Nichetto has received a series of international design awards in recognition of the high level of refinement and innovation in the projects developed, ranging from products, furnishings and accessories, without forgetting architecture and exhibitions. |
